ANGRY MONK (2005)

Reflections on Tibet

Synopsis

Trailer: Angry Monk

Statement director

«The idea for the film ‘Angry Monk’ goes back to several trips to China, Tibet, and India between 1988 and 1999. Without realizing it, I found myself in the very same places as the film’s protagonist—more than fifty years before me. Since 1988, I have been deeply engaged with Tibet, and especially with how it is perceived in the West.» – Luc Schaedler
